Mimi's Cafe at 3375 East Main Street, Ventura, California.

I walked in the front door to no one there. Stood for a couple of minutes until someone came around the corner. Finley got seated, 24! "twenty-four" minutes later with no one saying a word, the person who seated me walked by turned around and asked if I wanted something to drink. 5mins later a waitress comes and finally takes my order. 13 mins later my order came. What makes it worse this restaurant was at (at best) 25-30% capacity. Lack of attention and oversight. I hope they get consistently better.

Had a 4:30pm reservation 11/23/17 for a party of four.
Was seated at 5:15pm, over booked.
A frustrated server arrived at our table at 5:45pm.
They were running out of clean dishes.
Our turkey dinners arrived at 6:20pm.The food was unseasoned and cold. The gravy was warm and very good. The cornbread stuffing was cornbread mush, the pumpkin pie was gross, the pecan pie was very good. The portions were generous, took home a lot of food. My dog would not eat the leftovers. The gentleman at the reception desk was very good, he had to deal with a number of angry people. Our server was great, just overworked.
