Ventura Sandwich Company at 2700 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, California.

I needed a break from being with my daughter at the hospital, and hadn’t eaten in 24 hours. The cafeteria which is usually decent wasn’t good enough, I wanted a sandwich. Walking across the parking lot n there was a sign. The Ventura Sandwich Company! I ordered the Aztec Roast Beef sandwich and chit chatted with the counter guy, sorry forgot his name. It was a damn good sandwich!! The counter guy was very nice n kool! He asked if I liked clam chowder, I said I loved it! He returned with a free half a bowl sample, to my surprise, it was also very delicious! It was the perfect combo! Don’t be misguided by the outside, give it a shot! It’s a nice little shop with character. I will be back, and with friends!
